When the Lord gave Monica the vision for AOL He gave her Acts 16:26, suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. Paul and Silas were in prison for setting free a girl who was being trafficked; read the story. They worshipped God in the darkest place and the presence of God fell; it was so powerful that physical chains were loosed and they were ALL saved. Having one touch of the power of God can change you forever.
Every month, AOL takes teams to local strip clubs and brothels across the United States. Brothels, also known as an illicit Massage Businesses, are hidden in plain sight where buyers go to purchase sex acts. They bring food and a nice gift (name brand make up and toiletries). Many women are surprised to get such a nice gift for free. Many haven’t eaten for days and are so grateful for the food. The food and gifts open the doors and soften their hearts to receive Jesus. We develop relationships with these women, disciple them, and offer hope and a way out.
